Camp and M's 1st day

Last week M and C went to summer camp....they love this place.It is SUCH a nice camp,it comes w/a hefty price tag ...but for what they do its worth it. The drive is a little long but this year my cousins little boy was old enough so we were able to carpool-that was SOOO nice! The camp goes from 9-5 ,M-F for 1 week. They have nature hikes,trail riding,private horseback riding lessons,swimming in the lake (they have a HUGE inflatable glacier),a pool,kayaking,arts and crafts,a gym,fishing,and they can even go tubing if they want(C got to tube this year on the big banana boat).It was a fun week for them...T and I had fun too,just hanging out . We played at McDonald's w/his little cousins one day,went shopping and spent some of his b-day $$ another day,ran errands and went to lunch another day...ahhh it was so peaceful:)

On the last night of camp all the families are invited to diner at the camp(yummmm brats and burgers!) and a little carnival-the kids had a great time!

Yesterday was M's 1st day of middle school!! 6Th grade-WOW I'm I ever getting old! She started at a new school ,private K-8 school. It really seems like a nice school ,but full of lots of changes. She has to make new friends and in a school where a lot of them have been together since kindergarten can be tough! She said she had a good 1st day ..and really likes her teacher-so far,so good! Going to church at school and memorizing all the bible work will all be new and challenging,but change is good ...right??

The boys meet there teachers this week and drop off school supplies-but don't start school until next Tuesday!
