We had a very nice Easter. The kids thought it a great idea to be up at 6am looking for baskets,after I yelled at them to go back to bed they were quite for a little longer so I (we) could get a little more sleep.But we were all up by 7:30...it took them a little longer than usual to all find there baskets..(guess that Easter bunny did a good job).
After church we went to Matt's parents for diner. We took Tastefully simple warm the oven dip and poppy seed tort for our dishes to pass:-) Everything was great..Matt's mom made a crown roast,stuffing,diner rolls,fruit salad. His gramma made homemade applesauce(yummmmm) and lemon meringue pie(double yuuuummm) and my sister in law made green bean casserole.The kids had the usual Easter egg hunt which they love and then found there baskets...Easter was a little "over the top" for them this year. They each got 2 baskets from gramma and grampa,1 from great gramma,and a card with $$$ from there great aunt!
It was 5 or so before we headed home and I was one tired mommy:-)
