Unseasonably cold

Ha ..the term unseasonably cold was an understatement for this years 4th of July trip up north! It was cold and rainy the 1st 3 days we were there-and I do mean cold-it took until the 3rd day...yes 3rd to REACH 50 degrees-not funny! I have NEVER seen such cold in June/July before(and if so have pushed the horrible experience out of my head-ha).
It did get very nice after that, the rest of the Soup family joined us up there for the remainder of the trip and everyone had a blast. We tried to teach C how to ski put he only half got up(maybe Labor day )but had fun.
Here is Matt helping him try to get up out of the water.

Here are M & T with a bunny at Pecks wildwood zoo in Minoqua. We love it there, its been a few years since we've been there and its changed some(for the better). There are a lot of animals you can touch and hold and even feed, the kids had a great time.It was raining when we got there but got nicer after awhile. This is them w/one of the bunnies they had at the zoo(for sale). so of course we were bugged non-stop after leaving for pet bunnies. Matt told them if the were good they could get bunnies. There birthdays are July(in fact today is M's b-day-HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!) and Aug. Well they were pretty good up north so we decided (reluctantly) that they earned there bunnies.(But that's a whole 'nuther post)

And here we are....Happy 4Th from the Soup family......better late than never!
