Happy 4th of July

This is the 1st year in a looong time...8 years to be exact that we have stayed home on the 4th of July. Normally we spend it at the cottage. This year b/c Matt took a week off to go to FL this winter his job would not give him the time off:-( We were bummed to miss out. The entire Soup family was up there. Oh well sometimes you gotta try sumthin new I guess:-) It worked out fine..my parents planned a visit here for that whole week,so we got to spend some time with them. My moms fam planned a family reunion for that week(I guess its the year/summer for reunions this year). We also did family pics while they were here..since the last one was minus my youngest nephew.
We had a family reunion on the 3rd and then on the 4th my sister Becky invited my dads fam over for a cookout ,since my parents missed the Fathers day family reunion.

Then Our fam and Becky's went out together on our boats (and took my mom-dad wasn't feeling well). The kids did some tubing and then we anchored and swam and the we watched the fireworks(and sunset) from the boat...it was nice:-)

There were so many ppl there I didn't even get to talk to them all. My mom has 5 brothers and 5 sisters..all the fams were there plus my 50+ cousins and there 50+ kids. also some of my grandpas siblings and cousins were there.
The following day about 25 of us went to breakfast together..it was an experience:-)
